The secrets of a thousand ages past
still linger amongst the dense foliage.
Murmured whispers carried by the wind
tell tales of great triumph and defeat.
The ancient trees sing a song of lament
for forgotten ages that perish silently.
Stories of glory and tragedy spread across
the endless expanse of nature's beauty.
The lofty wind delivers these opulent fables
across great oceans and mighty chasms,
making the trees shudder with humility.
Ears listen to the trees, and souls are awed.

The Human Paradox
The human heart, human mind, and soul,
All desire to become one with the whole,
The whole of all and bane of one,
If all to all then none to none.
The heart alone beats, with sorrow and desire
Waiting to be kindled, hoping to touch the fire
Highly erratic union, doomed to pace the rim
Reaching for it's want, humbled on every whim
The mind alone seeks, be it loftily or lowly
Pace is always changing, be it fast or it slowly
The discernment of truth: Memory's power
Knowing too much, causes it to cower
The soul alone endures, naked and in pain
Yearning for forever, animating every vein
Contemplating always, restless and undying
Groping for its truth, life will leave it sighing
The human disposition, variable and unstable
We need a solid base, yet find we are unable
To sift through life lessons and find that truth,
Mediocre minds would call this quite uncouth
The human heart, human mind, and soul,
All desire to become one with the whole,
The whole of all and bane of one,
If all to all then none to none.
All desire to become one with the whole,
The whole of all and bane of one,

Poetic Inspiration
Inspire, think, write and read.
Traverse the heavens at light speed.
For those of you that dare not try,
I dare you now so don’t deny.
Read this poem and think awhile,
It just might lead you to a smile.
Laughs are few and far between,
So have a ball, and make a scene!
Words in poem are harsh or gentle.
Most times they are sentimental.
Tear up and know that life is good,
Embrace your loved one, like you should!
Slip, fall, get bruised, and stand.
Strange that no one held your hand.
Suppose it means you’re finally set,
To lead your life without regret.
Dream, imagine, hope, and cry.
That is life until you die.
Yet more than this can be done.
Don’t keep walking, just simply run!
Traverse the heavens at light speed.
For those of you that dare not try,
I dare you now so don’t deny.

Overcoming the Darkness
To breach the inmost vault of thy lone soul,
T'would diminish the passion in thy veins;
Free flowing as a tear-filled ocean whole,
Cascading forth as gloom upon the rains.
Just watch the Darkness fall into each crack,
Conjuring shadows that creep among dreams.
Slowly painting thy human soul jet black,
Passion twists itself between two extremes.
To dread the tear, instead declare the strange
The shadows strip thy courage from thyself.
Thou must will passion, and to craft a change,
And seize thy courage from thine wicked shelf.
To Hell and back expounds thy Will be true,
Tis Hell itself; to train thy Will anew.
T'would diminish the passion in thy veins;
Free flowing as a tear-filled ocean whole,
Cascading forth as gloom upon the rains.
Just watch the Darkness fall into each crack,
Conjuring shadows that creep among dreams.
Slowly painting thy human soul jet black,

Tis Hell itself; to train thy Will anew.
